Fairwinds Technologies has concluded its month-long campaign in support of Military Appreciation Month. The company chose Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Maryland as the beneficiary of this campaign.
During the month of May, the company and its employees contributed both financial and wish-list donations to the veterans home. Items donated included gift cards, clothing, shoes, snacks and personal care products.
“We are grateful for those who are serving but also those who have served our country. In honor of those brave men and women and in recognition of the many veterans on our own staff, we are proud to support this facility in our home state,” explains Jim Sprungle, CEO.
Charlotte Hall Veterans Home offers assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care for veterans. The home is part of the Maryland State Department of Veterans Affairs. Ninety-two percent of the residents at Charlotte Hall served during war time.
